Agriculture or farming is one of the sectors that the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has chosen to develop online courses.
What are the courses to choose from?
Agro-Entrepreneurship NC II
This course is comprised of competencies that a person must achieve to assess market opportunities, establish a farm production plan, handle finances, and market produce.
A person who finishes this is qualified to be a marketing coordinator or production coordinator.
A person who finishes this is qualified to be a marketing coordinator or production coordinator.
Aquaponic Food Production
This module is the introductory course for aquaponic food production. You will learn about aquaponics, hydroponics, aquaculture, essential water quality parameters, and necessary occupational health and safety practices observed in the aquaponic farm.
Organic Agriculture Production NC II
This course covers the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to begin your pursuit of a National Certificate for Organic Agriculture. It includes an overview of the Organic Agriculture Industry in the Philippines, the Fundamentals of Organic Agriculture, and Organic Certification. This is a prerequisite course for Raising Organic Chickens, Producing Organic Vegetables, Producing Organic Fertilizers, and Making Organic Concoctions and Extracts.
Agricultural Crops Production NC II
You will learn in this module the knowledge, skills, and attitude you must have before working in the agricultural crop production sector. You will be acquainted with performing nursery operations, planting crops, caring for and maintaining yields, and performing harvest and post-harvest operations.
Fruit Growing
This course covers lessons on preparing the plant site, growing seedlings and trees, and monitoring and harvesting fruit.
What are the requirements?

- Make sure that you create an account on the TOP website so you can enroll in a course.
- Login to the website using your registered username and password.
- After logging in, you will be directed to the TOP dashboard, where you can find the list of available courses.
- Click the link of the course that you want to enroll in.
- Click the link of the module you wish to take and click the Enroll Me button.
- After clicking the button, you will be redirected to the lessons inside the module.
- You may opt to take the tour, so you will be guided inside the system accordingly.
If you accidentally enrolled in a course, click the gear icon at the right corner of the course title and click Unenroll me in this course.
