Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) suspended its operations in its main and extension offices. Applications for medical assistance in Metro Manila can already be made online.
Based on the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Medical Access Program, the provision of assistance is limited to the following:
- Confinement
- Chemotherapy
- Dialysis
- Erythropoietin Injection (EPO) Hemo/Peritoneal
- Treatment
- Medicines for Hemophilia
- Medicines for post-transplant procedure
The applicant (patient/patient’s representative) must secure the original documentary requirements, encode the basic information, scan and upload the documents.
How to Apply
- Go to https://www.pcso.gov.ph/.
- Click the E-Services in its main menu and choose NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance.
- Apply and secure a reference number.
The PCSO Charity Assistance Department will process the request and provide financial assistance through claim slips or guarantee letters.
Print the claim slip or guarantee letter and present them to the hospital or partner health facility together with the original documents.
The hospital or partner health facility will surrender the documents to the Charity Assistance Department to process payment.
Reminders
- The Hospital or Partner Health Facility (hospitals/ dialysis center/ accredited suppliers) has the right to deny the requested assistance through Claim Slips or Guarantee Letters.
- All provided information is subject to the validation of the PCSO Charity Assistance Department.
- Multiple attempts deliberately to circumvent the system to secure financial assistance shall be grounds for denial of financial aid.
